Somebody said reveal yourself 26th October

You know, to want to write is to need to read. But if you read, you take into yourself the other and thus you change yourself. And should you want to create then you must ask yourself if the creation is thus yours or yours plus one? And you want to avoid the answer because you know it.

So you do not read. But sometimes you cannot help it. And it’s a love-hate relationship. The reading is great: it sets something growing, it feeds it and you have half an imagination. But often the truisims grate. “We don’t need to discuss what we can see in front of us, for all to see: it’s too obvious!”. And disillusioned, you turn away to see if you can see what is not seen, what is not there. But then no-one else joins you to look away; the circus transfixes them as they orbit. So back you come. And look again. “Why must we always study what we already know?” And as always the answer comes before the question: “Because we are children.”

Leo:

My apologies. I intended to delete my idiocy and in turn mistakenly removed your comment.

This entry is very confusing. It almost sounds as though you care.

I'm disturbed.

I liked this very much. Hey, I think its just fine to look away. I never liked the circus much anyway.

"And as always the answer comes before the question:"

We are not all children, but it is a fair point, one that I agree on and one that I will accept. But true learning will always come from the things you do not see, you turned but not for long enough. Try turning again and again and they will all turn eventually.
